St. Vincent de Paul Annual Report

ANNUAL REPORT
St. Elizabeth Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society

Saint Vincent de PaulThe St. Elizabeth Conference of the St. Vincent de Paul Society is grateful for the overwhelming support that you, our parishioners, provided to us during the past fiscal year ending September 30, 2014. The monetary donations totaled $60,304!

This gift does not include your generous contributions of non-perishable food which are received weekly in our donation box located in the church patio, as well as the donations by the parish school students and Religious Education students through the food drives they host. Thanks to your generosity we were able to assist more than 1,910 needy people within our parish boundaries. That work required more than 5,730 hours of volunteer time by our conference members, driving more than 11,000 miles.

Of the monies spent during the past year, 39% went toward rent assistance and temporary housing, 22% to utility assistance, 10% for grocery certificates that are provided with the food that is distributed, and 28% for camper ships for the Circle V Ranch Camp, special family needs, and furniture and appliance donations. Approximately 1% was spent on conference administrative expenses, including the hotline phone bill and Donut Sunday expenses.

Your recent holiday fund donations enabled us to provide Thanksgiving food boxes for 195 people in 47 families, and we will be providing Christmas gift cards and grocery certificates to 49 families.  Without your support and generosity our work could not continue.  We thank you for your continued prayers and donations.
